Radiologists are medical professionals that are specialists in the field of medical imaging. Radiologists work with medical imaging technology in order to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.
A Radiologist, or Radiographer, is responsible for using specialized medical imaging equipment to determine a patient’s internal injuries or illnesses. Their duties include meeting with patients and talking with them about the types of tests they’ll complete like MRIs or CT scans, operating medical imaging equipment and communicating with Physicians about their findings to determine patient needs.
DURATION
The duration of the programme is two years. The FBISE conducts terminal examinations for 1st year and 2nd year separately.

Working in the Radiology department in Conducting, X-Rays, doing Ultrasonography, CT Scans, ECGs and MRIs in standalone X-Ray labs or hospitals, nursing homes or clinics.
