Punjab govt announces winter vacations 2023 in schools and colleges of Islamabad. According to the details, the notification regarding the holidays has been issued, in which it has been said that all the schools and colleges of the federal capital will be closed from December 25 to December 31.

According to an official notification shared by the Director General of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), academic activities will resume in schools and colleges in Islamabad from January 1, 2024. Earlier, the Sindh government had announced winter vacations for private and government schools and other educational institutions across the province. According to the notification issued by the Sindh Education Department, the winter vacation will be from December 22 to December 31. All public and private educational institutions of the province will be closed from December 22 to December 31 due to winter vacation.

تفصیلات کے مطابق نگراں وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محسن نقوی نے کہا کہ اسموگ چیلنج سے نمٹنے کے لیے اعلیٰ سطح کا اجلاس طلب کیا گیا ہے۔
محسن نقوی نے اعلان کیا کہ پنجاب بھر میں سکول اور کالج 18 دسمبر سے یکم جنوری تک بند رہیں گے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ صوبے میں ہوا کے معیار میں بہتری آئی ہے اس لیے آئندہ ہفتے کوئی پابندی نہیں لگائی جائے گی۔ اس سے قبل، حکومت سندھ نے صوبے بھر کے نجی اور سرکاری اسکولوں اور دیگر تعلیمی اداروں کے لیے موسم سرما کی تعطیلات کا اعلان کیا تھا۔ محکمہ تعلیم سندھ کی جانب سے جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق موسم سرما کی تعطیلات 22 دسمبر سے 31 دسمبر تک ہوں گی۔ صوبے کے تمام سرکاری اور نجی تعلیمی ادارے 22 دسمبر سے 31 دسمبرتک موسم سرما کی تعطیلات کے باعث بند رہیں گے
